Bangkok: Jaravee Boonchan, a 27-year-old professional golfer from the KLPGA and ranked 154th in the world, emerged victorious at the "Singha-NSDF Ladies Open 2026" by finishing 13 under par. Her triumph came after a final round score of 2-under par 70, totaling 203, and secured her a prize of 200,000 baht. Boonchan edged out 19-year-old Nattharika Sensai from Bangkok by a single stroke at the Windsor Park and Golf Club, a par 72 course, on July 24, 2026.
According to Thai News Agency, the Ladies Professional Golf Association of Thailand organized the event, offering a prize pool of 1.5 million baht between July 22-24, 2026. Supported by Singha Corporation and others, the 54-hole stroke play competition concluded with Boonchan's first Thai LPGA title in five years. Her victory followed a series of remarkable performances, including her previous win at the 2021 Thai LPGA Masters and being the first Thai golfer to win on the KLPGA Tour in May.
Boonchan, reflecting on her performance, expressed satisfaction with her game despite some missed birdie opportunities. She noted the challenge posed by her competitors, Nattarika Sensai and Parinda Photikarn, and emphasized the importance of maintaining focus. Boonchan, who hadn't participated in the Thai Open since 2023, appreciated the opportunity to compete against rising talents like Sensai.
Nattarika Sensai, who finished as runner-up, expressed her learning experience from senior golfers and praised Boonchan's composure. Sensai added that she would continue competing at upcoming tournaments, including the Treasure Hill Golf Course event.
Meanwhile, Parinda Photikarn secured third place with a total score of 10 under par 206. The tournament also highlighted a hole-in-one by Praew Nontharak at the par-3 7th hole, marking her first in a tournament and her career. Nontharak tied for 10th place with a total score of 5 under par 211.
Among amateur golfers, Pimphisa Rabrong, a student from Arizona State University, delivered the best performance with a 4 under par 212, finishing 14th. The awards ceremony was attended by prominent figures, including Mr. Anan Phuekphibun, President of the Ladies Professional Golf Association.
