Bangkok: Football fans in Thailand were thrilled as the real English Premier League Trophy made its debut in the country, thanks to an event organized by Jasmine International Public Company Limited (JAS). The 'JAS FAN CONNECT: Premier League Trophy Experience' was held at the Jasmine International Building on Chaengwattana Road, marking a significant moment for Thai football enthusiasts eager to see the prestigious trophy up close for the first time in the 2026/27 season.
According to Thai News Agency, JAS, the sole official licensee of the Premier League and Emirates FA Cup, collaborated with Monomax, the main live broadcast platform, to bring this unique experience to fans. The event was graced by the presence of JAS's management team, including Dr. Sorach Asavaprapha, CEO of JAS, and representatives from Mono Next Public Company Limited and Thailand Post Public Company Limited, as well as Pakkret Municipality's Deputy Mayor, Mr. Somsak Lamor.
The event was filled with excitement and the spirit of English football, as fans eagerly gathered to witness the trophy. The highlight was the Premier League Trophy itself, prominently displayed for fans to admire and photograph. Attendees engaged in conversations about the Premier League and shared their excitement for the new season. The trophy, a symbol of English football success, stands 104 centimeters tall, is 61 centimeters wide, and weighs 25.4 kilograms, with a sterling silver base and a 24-karat gold-plated silver crown.
The design of the trophy, inspired by the 'Three Lions of English Football,' features two lions on the handles, with the captain of the winning team representing the 'third lion.' This iconic symbol of victory is a coveted prize for all 20 Premier League clubs each season.
Bringing the trophy to Thailand was a special initiative aimed at allowing fans to experience the Premier League's grandeur beyond the screen. Under the concept of "Connecting every cheer...to a moment close to the real trophy," the event successfully delivered a world-class football experience, bringing Thai fans closer to the Premier League.
