Bangkok: A lively atmosphere prevailed as applicants for local administrative positions flocked to examination centers since early morning. Khon Kaen implemented strict security measures for the transportation of examination papers, ensuring transparency and confidence in the process.
According to Thai News Agency, the atmosphere at the civil service recruitment examination for local government positions in the administrative field of local government organizations in Khon Kaen province was lively, especially at Khon Kaen University. Candidates began arriving at the examination venues as early as 6:00 AM to review their textbooks and check their examination rooms. The transportation of examination papers was handled with strict security measures in place, instilling confidence in the candidates. The Khon Kaen provincial examination center has opened six venues, accommodating over 13,900 candidates from the northeastern region.
During our coverage of the event, our news team observed a convoy of vehicles transporting examination papers from the command center to the Faculty of Engineering, Khon Kaen University, one of the examination venues. Strict security measures were in place, with officers accompanying the vans and security personnel providing protection along the route. Every step of the process was meticulously monitored and documented to ensure the safe and secure transportation of the examination papers and to instill confidence in the examinees observing the proceedings at the examination venues. For the morning examinations at Khon Kaen University, two venues were used: the Faculty of Engineering, Khon Kaen University, and the Khon Kaen University Demonstration School, Secondary Education Division.
Mr. Siraprasong Muensida, a teacher from Nam Phong Phuripattana Municipal School in Khon Kaen Province, taking the Deputy Educational Administrator position exam (Part A), said that he was about 80% prepared and arrived at the exam venue at 6:00 AM to avoid traffic problems. He checked his exam room and seat number, and reviewed his lessons before the exam. He also stated that after seeing the process of transporting the exam papers and the rigorous security measures, he was confident that the exam would be transparent, fair, and safe.
Meanwhile, Ms. Phoraphon Thongdaeng, Director of Education at Phraibung Subdistrict Municipality, Phraibung District, Sisaket Province, who was taking the exam for the mid-level Education Director position, said that she traveled from Sisaket Province since the evening of the previous day and arrived at the examination venue early in the morning to allow time to avoid traffic problems. She expressed confidence in Thammasat University as the examination administrator and was certain that the examination process was fair, transparent, and verifiable.
The Khon Kaen examination center has opened a total of 6 examination venues, accommodating 13,979 eligible candidates from the Northeast region. This includes 1,269 candidates at the Faculty of Engineering, Khon Kaen University, and 4,138 candidates at Kalayanawat School.
The number of students is as follows: Kham Kaen Nakhon School (3,000 students), Wat Klang Municipal School (2,970 students), Nakhon Khon Kaen School (1,750 students), and Khon Kaen University Demonstration School, Secondary Division (852 students).
