Leeds United Secures James Trafford in Record-Breaking Transfer

Leeds: Leeds United have signed James Trafford as their goalkeeper. Leeds United, a strong team in the English Premier League, has acquired James Trafford, the promising young goalkeeper from Manchester City, to guard their goal at Elland Road for a club-record fee of £40 million (approximately 1.76 billion baht) plus a bonus payment.

According to Thai News Agency, Trafford, who has become Leeds' most expensive player, surpasses Jorginho Rutter, who joined from Hoffenheim for £35.5 million (approximately 1,562 million baht) in 2023. He has signed a five-year contract with the "Whites" and becomes the third permanent signing for Leeds this summer, following Harry Wilson and Tariq Muharremovic.
