Buenos aires: Lionel Messi will lead Argentina to the 2026 World Cup. The 26-man squad for Argentina, the defending World Cup champions competing in the USA, Canada, and Mexico, under the management of coach Lionel Scaloni, has been revealed.

According to Thai News Agency, Lionel Messi returns to wear the captain's armband, leading "the Albiceleste" to another World Cup, marking his sixth appearance in the prestigious international tournament. One player that Argentinian fans regret not seeing included is Franco Mastantuano, the 18-year-old Real Madrid striker, who failed to secure a place in the World Cup squad for his home country.
