'Lt. Col. Thammanat' and his group resigned from the secretary-executive committee of the Palang Pracharath Party. It is rumored that 'Paiboon' is about to become the new party secretary. Reporters from the Palang Pracharath Party reported that in the evening of the same day, there was a news report that 6 MPs in Lt. Col. Thammanat's group who are executive members of the Palang Pracharath Party, namely Lt. Col. Thammanat Prompao, party secretary, Mr. Samphan Mayuso, MP for Narathiwat, Mr. Atthakorn Sirilatthayakorn, MP for Chachoengsao, Mr. Boonsing Warinrak, Ms. Boonying Nitikanchana, MP for Ratchaburi, and Mr. Pai Lik, MP for Kamphaeng Phet, have already submitted their resignations from being executive members of the party to the Election Commission (EC). On September 6, 2024, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., the Palang Pracharath Party will hold its 2nd/2024 general meeting in the main meeting room. There will be two important agenda items to consider: appointing a new party executive committee and appoi nting an additional candidate selection committee. The number of party executives will be reduced from the original 19 to approximately 13, who are people in the group of Gen. Prawit Wongsuwan, the party leader. There is currently news that the new candidate for the position of party secretary is Mr. Paiboon Nititawan.
