MEA Establishes 24-Hour Support Center for Flood-Related Electrical Issues

Bangkok:MEA has launched a center dedicated to handling reports and coordinating assistance for electrical system issues, particularly in flood-affected regions.

According to Thai News Agency, the Metropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA) aims to address the concerns of residents in Bangkok, Nonthaburi, and Samut Prakan who are impacted by recent flooding. The center is set up to manage reports of power outages and issues with damaged or unsafe electrical equipment.

The MEA provides advice on maintaining electrical safety and protecting lives and property. The assistance center operates 24 hours a day, and those in need can contact the hotline at 1130 for support.
