MEA organizes a seminar on solar cell business ‘Healing the Future with MEA’

Bangkok, MEA organizes a solar cell business seminar 'Healing the Future with MEA' for government hospitals to create knowledge and understanding of energy management and renewable energy, and to raise the standard of MEA's electrical system services. Mr. Jaturong Suriyasasin, Deputy Governor of MEA or the Metropolitan Electricity Authority, presided over the opening of the solar cell business seminar 'Healing the Future with MEA' for government hospital customers from Bangkok, Nonthaburi, Samut Prakan, Nakhon Pathom, Pathum Thani and their affiliated agencies, namely the Ministry of Public Health, Provincial Public Health Office, and the Medical Department of Bangkok, with over 130 participants. The seminar focused on providing participants with knowledge and understanding about energy management and renewable energy, as well as the importance of various MEA services that are ready to take care of the electrical system to be sufficient, secure, and stable, at Ballroom 1, 5th floor, Hyatt Regency Hotel, Ban gkok. The MEA Deputy Governor said that MEA, as a state enterprise under the Ministry of Interior, is responsible for overseeing the electricity distribution system, aiming to drive energy for the way of life in the metropolis by emphasizing the efficient, stable and safe use of electricity, as well as being ready to drive the organization according to the government's energy plan to promote the use of renewable energy that is environmentally friendly. Therefore, the seminar, Healing the Future with MEA, was organized with the objective of providing supporting information and guidelines for installing energy-saving equipment related to renewable energy or alternative energy for energy management, reducing carbon dioxide emissions and sustainable environmental conservation, as well as providing knowledge on considering the value of investing in installing Solar Rooftops, guidelines for connecting Solar Rooftops to the MEA's power grid system, as well as knowledge on safety and maintenance of the electrical sy stem in hospitals, which provides comprehensive services for inspecting and maintaining the electrical system according to academic principles with modern tools and technology, from electrical metering to internal electrical systems by a team of expert engineers ready to provide consultation or fix electrical system problems 24 hours a day, as well as an exchange of ideas from seminar participants to improve satisfaction and standards for providing more efficient electrical system services of MEA.
