Michael-Panapat Win Singha Kart Cup 2025 Championship for 11th Year

Chonburi: Michael Beechev and Pannapat Prawatrungruang emerged as champions in the Singha Kart Cup 2025, marking the event’s 11th edition. The championship, organized by Singha Corporation, provides a platform for Thai youth to reach international levels of racing, following in the footsteps of notable racers such as former Formula 3 driver Nantawut Bhirombhakdi and KYOJO Cup competitor Minnie Sitawee Limnantrak.

According to Thai News Agency, the annual championship concluded at the Bira Kart Circuit in Chonburi Province on Sunday, November 9th, with an intense 12-lap race. In the Rookie A category, for ages 9-10, Michael Beechev, racing car number 11, secured victory with a total time of 13 minutes 55.217 seconds. Trin Kasemsap and Rodson Chiwalak finished in second and third places, respectively.

In the Rookie B category, for ages 7-8, Thanamet Poonkiatthanaphak claimed victory in car number 5, finishing with a total time of 13 minutes 57.003 seconds. Pannapat Pravatrungruang, winner of the first round, and Natthaphon Chaiyrungruang took second and third places, respectively.

The cumulative points from Challenge Round 1 and Challenge Round 2 determined the overall champions. Michael Beechev emerged as the Rookie A champion with a total of 74 points. Trin Kasemsap and Rodson Chiwalak followed with 59 and 52 points, respectively. In the Rookie B category, Pannapat Prawatrungruang secured the championship with 67 points, while Thanamet Poonkiatthanaphak and Natthaphon Chaiyrungruang earned 64 and 60 points, respectively.

The championship-deciding field featured guidance from professional drivers Tin Sritrai, Carlo Van Dam, and Narasmi Apiwat, who mentored the young racers throughout the year. The 14 participants of the Singha Kart Cup 2025 will have the opportunity to advance to the Rok Cup Thailand 2026, a national championship event.
