Military District 24 Engages in Merit-Making Ceremony at Wat Pa Sri Khunaram

Udon thani: The 24th Military District participated in a merit-making ceremony and offered alms to Phra Bun Sin Chotipunyo (former Commander-in-Chief Kung) at Wat Pa Sri Khunaram. Major General Prasert Khatipathi, Commander of the 24th Military Circle, along with his troops, took part in the ceremony to seek auspiciousness for themselves, their families, and their unit.

According to Thai News Agency, the ceremony took place at Wat Pa Sri Khunaram, located in Ban Jeet, Ku Kaeo District, Udon Thani Province. The troops offered food to monks and extended their blessings to Phra Bunsin Chotipunyo, also known as "Former General Kung." Now a monk, he is committed to practicing Dharma and is known for his regular alms rounds each morning. This practice provides an opportunity for Buddhists to accumulate merit and support the continuity of Buddhism.

The event was marked by a simple yet peaceful atmosphere, filled with faith. Participants embraced the Dharma teachings as guidance for their lives and expressed their appreciation for the virtuous actions of Phra Bunsin Chotipunyo.
