Myanmar woman arrested for taking drugs to induce twins before dumping their bodies in trash

Bangkok, Bang Sue Police Station investigators arrested a Burmese woman who took drugs to give birth to her twin sons while she was 5 months pregnant before dumping their bodies in a trash can. In the case of a garbage collector from the Phaya Thai District Office in Bangkok, who found the body of a male infant, presumed to be twins, 4-5 months pregnant, abandoned in Soi Phahon Yothin 13, Samsen Nai Subdistrict, Phaya Thai District, Bangkok, while using a hydraulic press to squeeze garbage up into a bin on the vehicle, one infant's body fell into the garbage disposal chute, and another body was found in a plastic bag stuck to the garbage squeezer on July 3. Progress in this case: Today (9 July), the investigation team of Bang Sue Police Station arrested Ms. Pew Semao, 18 years old, a Myanmar national, in front of a rented room at an apartment on Soi Phahon Yothin 13, Samsen Nai Subdistrict, Phaya Thai District, Bangkok. The arrest was made after receiving information that the suspect was a pregnant foreign woman whose foreign friend was renting the room. Officers inspected the room and found bloodstains. Ms. Pew Semao had been missing from the room since 4 July. The investigation team therefore placed a watch until Ms. Pew Semao returned to her room, where they identified themselves and arrested her. Ms. Piwsema confessed that the bodies of the twin babies were hers. She had taken abortion pills to induce a miscarriage. When the babies were born, she found that they were both dead. In shock, she put the bodies in plastic bags and threw them in the trash can in front of her apartment. She admitted that she had entered Thailand without permission. Initially, the investigation team of Bang Sue Police Station took the suspect to the investigation officer of Bang Sue Police Station to prosecute him on charges of causing a miscarriage or allowing another person to cause a miscarriage while the pregnancy was over 12 weeks and being an alien who illegally entered the Kingdom without permission.
