Chonburi: Visiting Family Day Activity, Shift 3/68, President of the Navy Wives Association provides special meals to new soldiers and their families. At the Naval Education Department’s New Recruit Training Center, Mrs. Ariya Fueangchan, President of the Naval Wives Association, donated 2,700 lunch boxes and special food to new recruits from the 3rd/68th batch and their families, giving them the opportunity to eat together. They also visited and met with the new recruits’ families in the “Relatives Visit New Recruits from the 3rd/68th batch.”
According to Thai News Agency, Captain Thiwa Onla-or, Commander of the Naval Training Center, Department of Naval Education, and the commanding officers of the Naval Training Center, extended a warm welcome at the combined training building, Naval Training Center, Bang Saray Subdistrict, Sattahip District, Chonburi Province.
The New Recruit Training Center is organizing a Family Visiting Day event from November 29-30, 2015, to strengthen relationships between new recruits and their families. It also provides an opportunity for the new recruits’ relatives to witness the results of their training and care throughout the month they become “the youngest members of the Royal Thai Navy.” This month, they will be treated with safety and the attention of commanders at all levels of the Royal Thai Navy. This will foster greater confidence in the Royal Thai Navy’s training methods for new recruits.
By training new soldiers, batch 3/68, between 1 Nov. 68 – 31 Dec. 68, a total of 2 months, to adjust their condition from civilians to be strong and courageous sailors, ready to continue working in various units of the navy.
