Netiphong Srithong Clinches Victory at Singha-SAT Thailand PGA Tour After Decade-long Wait

Chachoengsao: The Professional Golf Association of Thailand organized the “Singha-SAT Chachoengsao Championship 2025” as part of the Thailand PGA Tour, featuring a total prize pool of 2 million baht. Sponsored by Singha Corporation, the Sports Authority of Thailand, the National Sports Development Fund, and BG Sports, the tournament was co-sponsored by Singha Drinking Water and LeBorn. The event took place at the Lotus Valley Golf Resort, a 6,938-yard, par-70 course in Chachoengsao Province, and was conducted in a 72-hole stroke play format.

According to Thai News Agency, the final round saw Netiphong Srithong, who began the day 4 strokes behind the leader, deliver an impressive performance. He initiated his round with a birdie on the first hole, followed by successive birdies at the 6th and 7th holes. Netiphong concluded with an 8-foot birdie putt on the 18th green, maintaining a bogey-free round of 4-under-par 66. This victory marked his first Thai PGA Tour title with a total score of 12-under-par 268, earning him 450,000 baht in prize money. He narrowly defeated Tatpong Chutimaporn from Songkhla and Kittipong Paitooncharoensuk from Phuket, who both tied for second place, trailing by just 1 stroke.

Netiphong, a 31-year-old golfer from Nakhon Pathom, expressed his happiness in securing a win after a long hiatus since his Asian Tour victory in the Philippines in 2015. He remarked on his satisfaction with the outcome, crediting his consistent practice and effort. Reflecting on past performances, he noted his close finishes, including a second-place finish at the Thailand Open 2023 and a playoff at the Singha Thailand Masters the previous week. Despite leading for three days, he acknowledged a poor final day performance that cost him the win, describing it as just a “one day of bad play.”
