New Zealand Prime Minister Luxon and Thai Prime Minister Anutin Witness CT-4 Aircraft Demonstration

Ardmore: The Prime Minister of Luxon, accompanied by Prime Minister Anutin, personally observed the NZAero demonstration of the CT-4 aircraft. New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon personally escorted Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul on a tour of NZAero aircraft at the Ardmore Airport hangar. Mr. Stephen Burrow, CEO of NZAero, welcomed the Prime Minister, provided a briefing on the company's operations, and then guided him through the aircraft display and a demonstration of the CT-4 light aircraft.

According to Thai News Agency, the Prime Minister stated that this visit to NZAero reflects the long-standing relationship and cooperation between Thailand and New Zealand. Thailand has had a continuous connection with the company's aircraft, including their use in rainmaking missions, which originated from the royal initiative of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej, as well as their use as training aircraft in Thailand, including flight training for Her Majesty the Queen.

The Prime Minister also proudly stated that he had previously used this model of aircraft for flight training, noting its high performance and safety standards. He expressed his great pleasure at having the opportunity to visit this aircraft model that has a long-standing connection with Thailand.

The Prime Minister thanked the Prime Minister of New Zealand for personally visiting and viewing the aircraft, reflecting the close relationship and friendship between the leaders and people of both countries. He expressed confidence that this visit would further expand cooperation between Thailand and New Zealand, particularly in the aviation industry, leading to closer and more tangible results that will benefit human resource development, enhance capabilities, and create new opportunities for the aviation industries of both countries in the future.

The two prime ministers also witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding between Top Flying Limited and NZAero. This visit reflects the government's commitment to seeking knowledge and opportunities through international cooperation to benefit the Thai people. This includes developing skills, creating opportunities in the aviation industry, and ultimately elevating Thailand's aviation sector to be more competitive in the future.
