NSTFair2026 to Showcase AI and Rare Earth Innovations

Bangkok: The Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation has announced the upcoming 'NSTFair2026,' touted as the largest science event of the year, set to take place from August 15-23 at IMPACT Muang Thong Thani.

According to Thai News Agency, Dr. Penpisut Chintasophon, spokesperson for the Ministry, revealed that the event is organized by the National Science Museum in collaboration with various agencies and partners from both the public and private sectors. The 'National Science and Technology Fair 2026' will be held under the theme 'Intelligence in Science for a Sustainable Future,' aiming to utilize scientific innovation to address societal challenges and enhance the nation's skilled workforce.

Dr. Penpisut highlighted that the fair will feature a range of exhibitions, such as the 'AI Revolution: The New Human Edge,' which explores the capabilities of artificial intelligence, and 'Rare Earth: The Invisible Power,' which delves into the importance of rare earth minerals in future technologies. Additional displays like 'Over The Bloom' and 'The Hidden World of Rangelands' will address themes of biodiversity, environmental issues, and food security.

Interactive elements will be part of the fair, offering Science Lab and Coding and AI workshops, alongside various activities designed to provide educational entertainment. The Ministry encourages parents, teachers, students, and the general public to participate in the event, as it promises to offer scientific insights and inspiration for all ages.

The 'NSTFair2026' will be open daily from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM at Halls 9-11, IMPACT Muang Thong Thani.
