According to Thai News Agency, the match began with an early lead for the Netherlands as Elias Skhiri of Tunisia scored an own goal in the 3rd minute. Shortly after, in the 7th minute, Brian Robbie extended the lead for the Dutch team. Tunisia managed to cut the deficit with a goal from Hasem Masturi in the 54th minute. However, the Netherlands solidified their win with a goal by Jan Paul van Hecke in the 62nd minute.
The Netherlands concluded the group stage with a record of two wins and one draw, amassing a total of 7 points. This performance earned them the position of group runners-up, allowing them to progress to the Round of 32. They are now set to compete against Morocco, who finished as runners-up in Group C.
