According to Thai News Agency, Pakorn affirmed that the exposure of corrupt practices in local government recruitment exams was a positive step, as it will deter future corruption and enhance confidence in the system. He highlighted the importance of building trust with international organizations, including the OECD, to which Thailand aspires to belong.
Pakorn addressed concerns about how the recent arrest of a corruption ring might affect Thailand's standing with the OECD.
