Pakornwut Hopes Outsider Ministers Will Tackle Key Issues

Bangkok: Pakornwut Udompipatsakul, a party-list MP for the Prachachon Party, expressed his thoughts on the newly formed cabinet under Anutin Charnvirakul, which includes ministers from outside the traditional political sphere. Pakornwut noted the cabinet’s intention to address pressing issues within the limited four-month timeframe they have. He emphasized his hope that these outsider ministers will effectively tackle immediate challenges such as the Trump tax issue and border concerns.

According to Thai News Agency, Pakornwut acknowledged the constraints posed by the short duration, describing it as a temporary solution rather than a long-term strategy. He refrained from offering specific opinions on the list of outsider ministers, highlighting instead his expectation that they focus on resolving urgent matters. The arrangement and authority to manage the government, he explained, rest with the Bhumjaithai Party and Prime Minister Anutin, following the finalization of the agreement after the prime ministerial vote.
