Bangkok: All sectors in Ra-ngae district united to declare their stance against violence and called for peace to return to the southern border provinces.
According to Thai News Agency, the 45th Ranger Regiment Task Force, in conjunction with the Narathiwat Task Force's Understanding Operations Unit, the 402nd Peacekeeping Unit, village headmen, religious leaders, students, and local residents, organized an event to demonstrate their stance against violence under the campaign "United Against All Forms of Violence." The event took place at the Bukeh Sami checkpoint, Village No. 7, Tan Yong Mas Subdistrict, Ra-ngae District, Narathiwat Province.
During the event, participants held signs with messages such as "We want peace in Ra-ngae District. We do not want violence," "Choose peace, not violence," "Stop, Refrain from Violence," and "STOP Shooting, STOP Bombing, STOP Loss of Life," to reflect the voices of the local people who disagree with violence in all forms and to send a message to all parties that the people want the southern border provinces to return to lasting peace.
