Permanent Secretary Leads Buddhist Ceremony for Queen’s 4th Cycle Birthday

Bangkok: The Permanent Secretary of the Prime Minister's Office presided over a Buddhist chanting ceremony, "Navakkahayusomdhamm," to offer blessings to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit on the occasion of her 4th cycle birthday anniversary on June 3, 2026, at the main chapel of Wat Rachathiwat Vihara, Dusit District, Bangkok.

According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Yupapha Thawiwattanakitbaworn, Permanent Secretary of the Prime Minister's Office, led the ceremony attended by executives, civil servants, and staff from the Prime Minister's Office, as well as Buddhist devotees. The event was held to honor Her Majesty Queen Sutida Bajrasudhabimalalakshana on her auspicious birthday anniversary.

This ceremony, jointly organized by the Prime Minister's Office and Wat Rachathiwat Vihara, aimed to express loyalty and gratitude for His Majesty the King's unwavering kindness and the numerous royal duties he has performed. Participants also engaged in meditation and prayers for His Majesty's continued health and guidance for the Thai people.
