Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin assigned the Labour Minister’s Advisor, Mrs. Thiwalrat Angkinan, the Ministry of Labour’s Spokesperson (on politics), Mrs. Thienrat Navamawat, the Phetchaburi Social Security Officer Mrs. Rasamee Sujto, and heads of government agencies under the Ministry of Labour in Phetchaburi Province, to visit the area to give gifts to build morale insured persons with disabilities in Tha Yang District, Phetchaburi Province.

The Labour Minister’s Advisor, Mrs. Thiwalrat Angkinan, said that Prime Minister and Minister of Defense General Prayuth Chan-ocha, Deputy Prime Minister General Prawit Wongsuwan, who oversees the Ministry of Labour and Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin, is concerned about insured employees with disabilities. Today, she and her team were assigned to visit the area to give gifts to insured persons with disabilities to boost their morale, including their families. The effort follows the “Giving Peace of Mind with MOL 2022 New Year Gifts”. Gifts were presented to Mr. Chamnian Chittan, 58 years, who is an insured person under Section 39. He has disabilities due to a stroke and is unable to help himself. He has slurred speech, a crooked mouth, a weak left side of the body, and cannot walk. His treatment is dependent on his symptoms. He is currently paralyzed on the left side. The Social Security Office has paid compensation for lack of income from October 1, 2015, to May 6, 2016, in the amount of 28,780.75 Baht. He receives compensation for lack of income of 2,400 Baht per month and old age pension and interest in the amount of 59,003.52 Baht. In addition, the team brought him consumer goods, shoulder support, a wheelchair, and an aluminum cane.

The Social Security Office is prepared to take care of insured persons with disabilities to have a good quality of life. Every insured person is part of the Social Security family.
