Bangkok:Pheu Thai MPs have expressed their congratulations to "Nene" for her remarkable performance wearing "Star-Patterned Fabric" from Nong Bua Lamphu on a world-class stage, which has brought fame and pride to Thailand.
According to Thai News Agency, during a House of Representatives meeting chaired by Speaker Sophon Saram, members discussed various issues, including school and hospital expenses, as well as farmers' problems. Amid these discussions, Pheu Thai MP Rungphet Srikarnjana took the opportunity to extend his congratulations and admiration to Rattikan Amlai, also known as "Nene Royal," a Thai singer and guitarist. Nene has become a national icon by reaching the finals of America's Got Talent 2026.
Rungphet Srikarnjana highlighted not only Nene's talent but also her choice to wear the 'Dujdao' patterned fabric, a symbol of Nong Bua Lamphu province, on the world stage. He noted that he had also worn the fabric to the House meeting as a gesture of support. He commended the Phurisa Thai Fabric Club for elevating the 'Dujdao' fabric to international recognition, describing it as "a thread of faith, the wisdom of the Bodhi tree."
