Phuket: Two new local government officials in Phuket reported for duty on their first day of the second round, starting early in the morning amidst heavy rain. They stated they would do their best as civil servants. An additional 100 officials will be appointed in the next round.
According to Thai News Agency, the two officials had passed the recruitment exam in December 2025 and made their way to the Phuket Provincial Local Administration Office despite the inclement weather.
