Nakhon Phanom: A pickup truck lost control and crashed into an electric pole on the Nakhon Phanom-That Phanom Road, resulting in the deaths of four individuals. The accident occurred at the curve near Ban Dong Mu gas station, Tha Kho Subdistrict, Mueang District, Nakhon Phanom Province. The Sawang Na Wa That Phanom Rescue Unit, alerted by the Nakhon Phanom Command Center, dispatched volunteers to the scene. They discovered a white pickup truck severely damaged and entangled with a high-voltage electric pole. Inside the vehicle were four deceased individuals: two men and two women. According to Thai News Agency, the electricity authority was contacted to cut off the power, and equipment was requested to extricate the bodies from the wreckage. Investigations revealed that the driver, Mr. Pawarit, 30, was traveling with friends, totaling four people. Evidence from the vehicle's front camera indicated that the vehicle was traveling at high speed. It is suspected that the unfamiliarity with the dangerous curve l ed to the loss of control, causing the vehicle to crash into the electric pole. The authorities have removed the bodies and plan to conduct autopsies before returning them to the families for religious rites.
