Nakhon ratchasima: Pimrada Nuchanat clinched the championship title in the Super Junior Girl category with a two-day total score of 1 under par 143 at the 'Chang Thailand Junior Golf Circuit 2026' qualifying round 4. This victory earns her a spot in the International Championship, where she will enhance her golf skills alongside world-class professional golfers.
According to Thai News Agency, "Chang Natural Mineral Water" has continued its commitment to developing Thai golf by organizing the "Chang Thailand Junior Golf Circuit 2026" for the 12th year. The tournament maintains standards from Junior Golf Scoreboard (JGS), World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR), and is the only tournament in Thailand certified by the Department of Physical Education. It features three age group categories for both boys and girls in a Stroke Play format across professional-grade courses. Qualifying rounds are held nationwide to select talented golfers who will represent Thailand in international competitions.
The fourth qualifying round took place at Rancho Charnvee Resort and Country Club in Nakhon Ratchasima province, with over 100 junior golfers aged 8-22 participating. The competition results included winners from different categories: Sekkasiri Srikhumkong and Prima Wongwanicharat in the Junior category; Nattawee Prateepsen and Pimnyada Nuchanat in the Super Junior category; and Nattawat Chairatkiratichot and Teerada Taemmalala in the Special Class category.
These young golfers will join the 'Chang Thailand Junior Golf Circuit 2026' International Championship, accredited by WAGR and certified by the Department of Physical Education. They will compete for the Dream Prize, which involves training with leading PGA Tour coaches. An exclusive training program will be available with Dr. Rick Sessinghaus, known for mentoring world-renowned golfer Collin Morikawa. This program will aid in developing their mental toughness and professional skills. Additionally, top young golfers may be selected for the 'ThaiBev ThaiTalent' program, guiding them towards professional golfing careers.
The competition enjoys support from both public and private sectors, including the Department of Physical Education and several corporate partners, in collaboration with Chang Natural Mineral Water, aiming to elevate Thai golf to international prominence.
