The Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) announced the progress of the implementation of the Pink Line Project. The Khae Rai-Min Buri section at the end of August 2023 has progressed as planned. There was 96.71% progress on civil works, 98.35% on Mand E electric train systems, and 98.03% on overall progress.

Including expediting the restoration of the road surface on Ramindra Road, Chaengwattana Road, Sihaburanukit Road. and Tiwanon Road which is the project route To facilitate and safe travel for road users.
As for preparations for the opening of the project, currently the project concessionaire It is still undergoing a virtual test run (Trial Run) in the first phase from Chaloem Phrakiat Government Center Station (PK12) to Minburi Station (PK30). The test has not yet been completed. MRTA has assigned consultants to control the project. etc. Supervise and follow up the results of the test drive closely. As well as reporting various problems and obstacles to MRTA periodically in order to consider the readiness and appropriateness of the work plan. Taking into account the highest safety and ease of access to public services is important.
However, when the above two parts of the operation include virtual test runs. and civil works are completed, the independent engineer (ICE) and MRTA will inspect and assess the overall readiness of the project. To ensure safe operations according to international standards And once the evaluation criteria have been passed according to international standards, the MRTA will consider allowing the concessionaire to open for full commercial operation of the electric train (Full Operation). Along with announcing the schedule for opening for the public to try out the Pink Line MRT service. and the official opening date will be announced for the public to know.
As for the Pink Line extension project Si Rat Station - Muang Thong Thani Currently, there is 36.86% progress on civil works, 19.12% progress on the Mand E electric train system, and 30.23% progress overall.
