Bangkok: “Pirapan” has presented his vision for the upcoming election campaign, emphasizing that leaders must be decisive in addressing crises and transforming the nation.
According to Thai News Agency, on December 7, the Ruam Thai Sang Chart Party (RTS) outlined its preparedness for the election, stressing the importance of decisive leadership in tackling the country’s challenges. Party leader Pirapan Salirathavipak declared a need to eradicate corruption and drug-related issues. He described himself as a “doer-and-sayer,” distinguishing the RTS as the largest party in terms of heart, not size, and framing other parties as adversaries due to the nation’s crisis.
The RTS convened a press conference titled “Decisively Resolving the Crisis, Transforming the Country,” attended by prospective MP candidates from across Thailand. Pirapan criticized the indecisiveness of those in power, pointing to overlapping interests as a barrier to problem-solving. He argued that unresolved issues could escalate into national crises, asserting that the RTS is committed to decisive action without conflicts of interest.
Pirapan acknowledged that the RTS is not yet a major party in political terms, having been established only 3-4 years ago. However, he claimed that the party’s decisiveness, achievements, and integrity make it the greatest political entity in the country. He pledged to continue his track record of action-driven leadership, citing his tenure as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy, during which he reduced electricity prices and decreased EGAT’s debt.
As Thailand approaches the election, Pirapan emphasized that the RTS is not competing against other parties but against the country’s problems and crises. He called on the public for support, urging citizens to vote for the RTS to demonstrate its greatness through heart and determination.
Pirapan highlighted several urgent national crises, including the need to protect Thailand’s independence and address social issues like health care and education. He also emphasized the importance of supporting the agricultural sector by reducing production costs and providing opportunities for farmers.
He advocated for returning power to the people and overhauling the budget system to prioritize citizens’ needs. Pirapan called for educational reforms to align with the country’s needs and create job opportunities, particularly for people with disabilities and the elderly.
Concluding the meeting, Pirapan introduced key party leaders and urged citizens to vote for the RTS, reinforcing his commitment to solving national problems for the public good.
