Poj Thaprajan Calls for Fair Judgment Amid Amulet Controversy

Bangkok: "Poj Thaprajan" has urged the public to listen to both sides of the story before forming judgments, as he seeks to put an end to the controversy surrounding the amulet collecting community. The situation unfolded when a 60-year-old woman brought 14 amulets, including a Luang Pu Tim 8-round amulet allegedly made of gold, for inspection and appraisal, which amounted to approximately 2.5 million baht. This led to widespread criticism after another expert was consulted, raising suspicions.

According to Thai News Agency, Poj Thaprajan addressed the issue on his Facebook page, stating his intentions were not fraudulent and emphasizing the importance of providing factual information to the public. He clarified that miscommunication within his team resulted in inaccuracies, prompting him to contact the Buddha image's owner to rectify the situation. He extended apologies to all affected parties for the misinformation.

A team member was relieved of their duties to demonstrate accountability and prevent future issues. The individual confirmed their dedication to resolving the incident sincerely and expressed gratitude to the amulet owner and others involved for their cooperation in clarifying the facts. They committed to improving work processes and rebuilding trust within the amulet collecting community. Poj assured that his family was not involved in the incident, despite the significant impact of media coverage.
