Pavee Manmuang, Deputy Superintendent of Wang Thonglang Police Station, and Pol. Lt. Col. Wisarut Phithiphatphong, Inspector of Wang Thonglang Police Station, arrested Mr. Bountium (last name withheld), 22 years old, a Laotian national, along with a large quantity of narcotics.
According to Thai News Agency, Pol. Col. Jesada stated that police officers from Wang Thonglang Police Station, while patrolling the area, encountered a suspicious individual acting suspiciously in front of a convenience store in Soi Ladprao 114. They identified themselves and conducted a search, discovering a large quantity of narcotics. The police then proceeded to search the area and seize several items of evidence, including ketamine in various forms and packages, a powdered drink mix containing methamphetamine, and other related paraphernalia.
The total weight of the seized ketamine, including packaging, was 1150.188 grams. Among the items discovered were a psychotropic substance of type 2 (ketamine) in various packaged forms, and powdered drink mixes labeled "COFFEE HOUSE" and "Just Do It," which tested positive for methamphetamine. Additionally, authorities seized a gray Honda PCX160 motorcycle and various packaging materials that were used in the drug distribution operation.
The suspect, Mr. Bountium, was charged with possession of a Category 2 psychotropic substance (ketamine) with intent to sell illegally, possession of a Category 1 narcotic drug (methamphetamine) with intent to sell illegally, and being a foreign national who overstayed his visa. He was informed of his rights and, along with the seized evidence, taken to Wang Thonglang Police Station for further legal proceedings.
