Bangkok: Police held a rigorous meeting to investigate the connection between Nana’s case and lawyer Saiyut. They are preparing to bring Way Thaitanium to meet with investigators this afternoon.
According to Thai News Agency, Police Colonel Nittichot Penjamras, Deputy Commander of the Economic Crime Suppression Division, revealed that the meeting to follow up on the progress of the Nana Raibeena case will be held this morning. He stated that after the working group had previously divided up tasks, they will meet today to follow up on the progress and further divide the work. The meeting will not focus on any specific issue, but will discuss all relevant issues.
The police have requested a meeting on the issue that Nana’s lawyer argued in the case that Nana’s actions did not constitute fraud. They will also need to examine the connection between Nana and her husband, Way Titanium. Regarding the case of Way Thaitanium, while he is scheduled to meet with investigators today, confirmation is pending. Police typically do not contact the individual directly but coordinate through their lawyers.
The same applies to Khaophot, Ms. Smittinan, a friend of Nana and the victim, who has also not yet been notified of her appointment to the investigators. Khaophot has already assigned her lawyer to submit all evidence to the police. If additional evidence becomes available, they will submit it again.
Regarding the case of one victim who claims to have been persuaded by Way Thaitanium to invest 50 million baht in a business, the police have only learned of this from the news and do not yet know the identity of the victim. They are yet to see any evidence of the 50 million baht investment transfer slip. This matter will be brought up at today’s meeting, and coordination with the victim will be done to provide information later.
It was reported that Way Thaitanium will be present to give a statement to investigators this afternoon, along with Nana’s lawyer, Saiyut Pengbunchu.
