Pork Butcher Shocked by Grim Discovery in Car Back Seat

Samut prakan: A pork butcher's routine drive to the market took a harrowing turn when he discovered the body of a 60-year-old woman in the back seat of his car. The butcher, who was unaware of the presence of anyone else in his vehicle, made the grim discovery upon stopping to check his car.

According to Thai News Agency, the incident was reported to the Samrong Tai Police Station, where officers arrived to find the deceased, identified as Mrs. Sasithorn, slumped in the back seat. She was dressed in a black floral shirt, long pants, and a face mask. Authorities noted that there were no visible wounds or signs of assault, and it is believed she had been deceased for an extended period.

Mr. Chana Silpapadungkul, the 61-year-old owner of the car, recounted that he had driven from his apartment in Soi Santikham to the Cambodian market, a location close to where the incident transpired. Unbeknownst to him, Mrs. Sasithorn had apparently entered the vehicle, possibly due to the car's faulty door lock system. Upon parking near the Chao Pho Thap Shrine, Mr. Chana noticed the woman's legs protruding from the back seat and immediately alerted the authorities after finding her unresponsive.
