Later, when there was a change in government with Pheu Thai Party as the core party in forming the government, the Palang Pracharath Party resolved to join the government with Pheu Thai Party by holding a joint press conference with other coalition parties on August 15, 2024. In the House of Representatives meeting on August 16, 2024, the MPs of the Palang Pracharath Party voted to approve the leader of the P heu Thai Party, Ms. Paethongtarn Shinawatra, as Prime Minister. On August 20, 2024, the leader of the Palang Pracharath Party sent the list of 4 persons whom the party approved to hold the position of the party's ministers to the Prime Minister, Ms. Paethongtarn Shinawatra, through Dr. Prommin Lertsuridej, Secretary-General to the Prime Minister, without any changes in positions or persons (they are the same persons and positions as in the previous government of Prime Minister Settha Thavisin).
