Bangkok: The Prime Minister invited Pheu Thai ministers to lunch to discuss the direction of their work.
According to Thai News Agency, the Prime Minister revealed that the meeting was organized to support the achievement of the government's mission goals. The lunch, which included ministers from the Pheu Thai Party, was aimed at fostering a collaborative environment among coalition partners. The Prime Minister emphasized the importance of these meetings for building familiarity and addressing issues directly, rather than through indirect channels.
Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul stated that the gathering was part of a broader effort to meet with coalition partners at least once a month. He highlighted that the discussions were focused on mutual support and goodwill, with no attention given to political or constitutional amendment issues. The meeting was attended by Minister of Labour Julaphan Amornvivat, leader of the Pheu Thai Party, and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation Yossanan Wongsawat, along with other ministers.
Agriculture and Cooperatives Minister Suriya Jungrungreangkit noted that such gatherings are rare but crucial for facilitating future cooperation. He confirmed that the Prime Minister did not give any specific instructions during the meeting, as he left to resume his duties at the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives.
