PTT presents prize money to 'Nong Tennis' Panipak Wongpattanakit and 'Nong B' Chanchaem Suwanpheng, two Olympic heroes, as well as associations and teams, totaling 4.5 million baht. Dr. Kongkrapan Intarajang, Chief Executive Officer and President of PTT Public Company Limited, along with senior executives and PTT Group employees, organized the 'Together for Thai Olympic Heroes' activity at PTT Head Office to congratulate the success and thank the Thai athletes who brought happiness and pride to Thai people from the 2024 Olympic Games. PTT has donated 2,000,000 baht to support and encourage 'Nong Tennis' Panipak Wongpattanakit, a Thai national taekwondo athlete who won two consecutive Olympic gold medals, and 1,000,000 baht to 'Nong B' Chanjam Suwanpheng, a boxer who won an Olympic bronze medal. Donate 500,000 baht to support 'Coach Che' Mr. Chatchai Che, head coach of the Thai national taekwondo team, after he has continuously produced outstanding results for over 20 years, including donating 500,000 baht to the taekwondo coaches and athletes, as well as the boxing coaches and athletes, for each association, totaling 4,500,000 baht. In addition, PTT Group companies also provided gifts to encourage the athletes. Dr. Kongkrapan said that PTT Group would like to congratulate and thank the athletes who have given great happiness and pride to Thai people throughout the past period. Supporting the country's sports is something that PTT Group has always given importance to. Nong Tennis thanked PTT for their support and invited Surat Thani residents to take photos with her on the occasion of her return home on August 23. Chanchaem revealed that she will give this money to her father and mother, and talked about her plans to return to her hometown in Nong Khai Province. She said that she has prepared to fulfill her vow by organizing a Morlam sing performance, so she would like to invite the people of Nong Khai and the brothers and sisters of Fa Rai District to join in the fun. For PTT Group, it supports 20 sports associations according to the memorandum of understanding to support sports associations, state enterprises and the private sector to drive the Soft Power policy in sports under a budget of 200 million baht for a period of 4 years to plan the long-term development of athletes in a comprehensive, efficient and sustainable manner.
