Bangkok: PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited (PTT EP) participated in a volunteer activity called 'Give Grow Green' to promote environmental conservation and increase green spaces in the city at Wachirabenjathat Park, commonly known as Railway Park.
According to Thai News Agency, more than 60 employee volunteers from PTT EP took part in this tree planting activity, which involved learning about various tree species and planting over 300 trees. This initiative is aimed at increasing public green space and creating a shady environment for park users, while also promoting employee involvement in creating shared value for society.
In addition to the volunteer activities at Railway Park, PTT EP is engaged in reforestation projects across several provinces in the country. This initiative is part of a broader strategy to address climate change. The company has successfully planted and restored more than 156,000 rai of forest in 27 provinces, with a target of 200,000 rai by 2030. This reflects PTT EP's commitment to conducting business while simultaneously protecting the environment and creating balance in the ecosystem.
