PTT Group Partners with Vocational Education Commission for Workforce Development

Bangkok: PTT Group has joined forces with the Office of the Vocational Education Commission (OVEC) to advance human resources in the realm of vocational education through the iPEC program. This initiative offers students complimentary education, salaries, and internships with partner companies, aligning with PTT Group’s Creating Shared Value (CSV) policy.

According to Thai News Agency, the “Higher Vocational Education Workforce Development Project (iPEC) Phase 4” was formalized in a signing ceremony attended by Mr. Therdkiat Prommoon, CEO and President of IRPC Public Company Limited. The agreement includes significant participation from PTT Public Company Limited, PTT Oil and Retail Business Public Company Limited, PTT Global Chemical Public Company Limited, Thai Oil Public Company Limited, and Global Power Synergy Public Company Limited.

Mr. Song-nga Taechuai, Deputy Secretary-General of the Vocational Education Commission, witnessed the signing. The collaboration aims to enhance the vocational education workforce’s competence at the Vocational Certificate level across seven fields of study: Petrochemical, Industrial Chemistry, Energy Technology, Mechatronics and Robotics, Production Technology, and Digital Business Technology.

Students enrolled in the iPEC program will benefit from full scholarships, salaries, study materials, accommodation, and company internships. This initiative is a part of PTT Group’s dedication to raising the quality of Thai vocational education to support the growing sectors of energy, petrochemicals, and new industries.
