Hat yai: PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited (PTTEP) has extended its support to flood victims in Songkhla Province by donating 200 medical oxygen tanks to Songklanagarind Hospital and Hat Yai Hospital. The donation is part of the company’s ongoing efforts to assist those affected by flooding in the region.
According to Thai News Agency, PTTEP has been actively supporting flood victims in the Hat Yai District and other areas in Songkhla Province. In collaboration with the Border Patrol Police, the donated oxygen tanks will be transported to the affected areas to aid in the treatment of patients requiring life-saving equipment. Additionally, the company has donated 30 high-pressure water jets to the Royal Thai Navy to bolster disaster relief efforts.
In response to the floods, PTTEP has provided immediate relief by distributing survival supplies such as dried food, drinking water, and other necessities aboard the HTMS Chakri Naruebet. The company has also supplied bedding, blankets, and clothing to the Prince of Songkla University Shelter. On a technical front, PTTEP has collaborated with its subsidiary, AI and Robotics Ventures Co., Ltd. (ARV), to deploy drones for transportation, surveying, and surveillance, supporting the 42nd Military Circle’s Disaster Relief Center in reaching hard-to-access areas.
PTTEP remains committed to working with all sectors to offer assistance, rehabilitation, and moral support, aiming for a swift recovery and return to normalcy for the flood victims.
