Ongkharak:Residents of Khlong Yai Subdistrict in Ongkharak District are expressing dissatisfaction after officials used sandbags to block roads, leading to significant flooding concerns in Nakhon Nayok Province.
According to Thai News Agency, the sandbags, intended for drainage, have instead caused the area to remain flooded for over ten days, preventing water from draining effectively. Residents have gathered once more to negotiate for the sandbags' removal to allow water to flow into the canal.
This situation has led to flooding on Rangsit-Nakhon Nayok road, particularly in front of Srinakharinwirot University, Ongkharak campus. On the Rangsit side in Pathum Thani, the water level has only just receded enough for traffic to resume, highlighting the ongoing challenges faced by the community.
