Bangkok: The Royal Thai Air Force Medical Association convened a meeting to evaluate the advancement of the telemedicine project at the Internal Medicine Center, Tosamintradhiraj Hospital. On Thursday, May 21, 2026, at 10:00 AM, Air Vice Marshal Apirat Rangsimakarn, Deputy Director-General of the Royal Thai Air Force Civil Affairs Department, and Mr. Komol Chiaravanont, Executive President of the RTA-EDC, jointly chaired the session at the Commander's Meeting Room, Department of Civil Affairs, Royal Thai Air Force.
According to Thai News Agency, the meeting aimed to update stakeholders on the progress of the telemedicine initiative, a joint effort involving the Royal Thai Air Force Alumni Association, the Royal Thai Air Force Medical Department, and True Visions Public Company Limited. The initiative, launched by Air Chief Marshal Itthaporn Kanacharoen, seeks to alleviate hospital congestion and enhance service convenience through the use of information technology. The project commenced in February 2026 and is slated for official launch in July 2026.
The telemedicine project, valued at 2,590,000 baht, will be supported by True Visions Public Company Limited for a year, from its launch in July 2026 until June 2027. This support aims to enhance medical service accessibility through information technology, particularly benefiting the elderly population who will utilize the services of the Internal Medicine Development Center.
The meeting included the participation of the Executive Committee of the Royal Thai Air Force Medical Association, the Medical Section of the Association, and representatives from True Visions Public Company Limited and Egg Digital Company Limited. The Royal Thai Air Force Medical Association takes pride in contributing to public service missions and advancing medical services for societal benefit.
