RTAA Finds Irregularities in Motorcycle Engine of “Payu”

Bangkok:The Royal Thai Automobile Association (RTAA) disclosed that the cylinder block of "Payu's" motorcycle was found to be in violation of regulations during a recent inspection.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Pruttirat Rattanagul Serirengrit, President of the Royal Automobile Association of Thailand (RAAT), announced the inspection results following a protest by Por Tanuphat. The protest concerned the engine of "Nong Payu," the son of Chom Phueng, prompting a request for a thorough investigation by the RAAT.

The RAAT confirmed that the cylinder block of the go-kart did not comply with the required regulations, which stipulate that all karts in the racing class must use identical engine specifications. However, the RAAT refrained from commenting on whether this modification enhanced the engine's power compared to other karts. They emphasized that the decision on the race winner lies with the organizers and that racers have the right to appeal through the established procedures.
