Sean Combs: The Reckoning to Premiere on Netflix Amid Controversy

Bangkok: Netflix is set to release “Sean Combs: The Reckoning,” a biographical documentary about Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, the singer, songwriter, and producer known for his influence on the music industry since the 1990s. Combs, a three-time Grammy Award winner, has played a pivotal role in the careers of artists like Notorious B.I.G., Mary J. Blige, and Usher.

According to Thai News Agency, the documentary comes in the wake of Combs’ arrest on charges including conspiracy to commit racketeering, human trafficking, and transportation for prostitution. Adding to the intrigue, Combs’ long-time rival, 50 Cent, has announced a partnership with Netflix, contributing to the documentary and participating in interviews.

The four-part series, set to be available for streaming on December 2, will delve into the multifaceted aspects of Combs’ life, including his rise to fame, controversial business activities, and infamous “Freak Offs” parties. The documentary features interviews with 50 Cent and Combs’ ex-wife, Casandra Fine Ventura, who filed charges against him for assault, sexual assault, and unlawful confinement in 2023.
