SET CEO Predicts Strong Q2 Earnings to Boost Thai Stock Market

Bangkok: The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) CEO is confident that supporting factors for the Thai stock market will attract investment, and is anticipating strong Q2/2026 earnings results. The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) CEO assesses that Thai stocks still have growth potential driven by government support policies and the attraction of foreign investment in targeted industries. He points out that Thai stock prices remain attractive and calls for close monitoring of Q2/2026 earnings reports from listed companies.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Assadej Kongsiri, Director and President of the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET), commented on fund flows in the SET, stating that several factors continue to provide support, particularly the government's proactive policies to attract foreign investment in infrastructure or targeted industries. Meanwhile, the Thailand FastPass mechanism is expected to show increasingly clear results.

From an analyst's perspective, considering the price-to-earnings (PE) ratio, excluding DELTA shares, Thai stock prices remain relatively low. However, a key factor to monitor is the Q2 earnings results of listed companies. The Stock Exchange of Thailand is awaiting full figures to assess the future direction.

"If overall performance is good or shows a stable trend, it is believed that it will continue to attract investors or institutional investment interest."
