Showcasing Innovative EV Tires at IMPACT SPEED FEST 2026

Bangkok: The rapid growth of the electric vehicle (EV) and hybrid vehicle market in Thailand has led to a shift in consumer behavior and demand towards tires with more specialized performance characteristics. This focuses on grip, noise reduction, low rolling resistance to aid energy efficiency, and the ability to handle the high weight and torque of EVs.

According to Thai News Agency, at IMPACT SPEED FEST 2026, held from July 17-19, 2026 at Challenger Hall 2-3, IMPACT Muang Thong Thani, Sailun Tire (Thailand) Co., Ltd. showcased its new tire technologies to meet the needs of general car users, car customization experts, and electric vehicle users in Thailand.

Within the exhibition area, a highlight product showcased was the Silun PT01 tire, a high-performance racing tire, which was fitted to the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra electric vehicle. This demonstrated the synergy between high-performance tires and high-powered EVs, highlighting the need for tires that reduce rolling resistance, enhance speed stability, and extend driving range per charge.

In addition, premium tire brand VOGUE Tire, known for its distinctive sidewall design from the US market, was launched to target automotive fashion and car customization enthusiasts. A wide range of passenger car tire series were also introduced, including ERANGE Performance E01+, ATREZZO ERANGE, ERANGE PREMIUM S01, and ATREZZO ZSR2, covering a range of applications from passenger cars and SUVs to premium vehicles.

Another key aspect of modern tire technology is materials science research. The company has introduced Ecopoint3 technology, which utilizes novel materials in the manufacturing process to address the traditional tire performance dilemma (Magic Triangle), enabling the tire to excel in all three areas simultaneously: low rolling resistance saves energy and increases driving distance, improved grip on wet roads enhances driving safety, and wear resistance extends the lifespan of tires.

During the event, Mr. Cao Guoqiang, Assistant President of Xailun Group, and Mr. Steve Zhang, Managing Director of Xailun Tire (Thailand) Co., Ltd., visited the booth, met and spoke with visitors and business partners, listened to feedback on products and activities at the booth, and exchanged views with the regional marketing team regarding market trends and consumer needs in Thailand.

Mr. Thanayot Songkittipakdee, Regional Marketing Director for Asia at Sailun Group, stated that the demand for high-performance tires supporting new technologies in Asia and Thailand is continuously increasing. Therefore, the company focuses on developing innovative products and offering them at accessible price points to support the expansion of the new energy vehicle market, both currently and in the future.
