Sisters Seek Justice After Allegations Against Drug Addict Father

Mukdahan: Unable to bear it any longer, a 20-year-old woman has filed a police report alleging that her father, who is a drug addict, raped her twice. Her older sister also reported that their father attempted to break into her younger sister's room with the intent to rape her as well, but failed.

According to Thai News Agency, the sisters, aged 20 and 17, sought assistance from Mr. Songsith Sarakit, the owner of the "Songsith (Uncle Techin) Sarakit" Facebook page. They were looking for a new place to live and needed help filing a police report against their 40-year-old biological father. They claimed he raped the older sister and attempted to rape the younger sister.

The elder sister recounted that after their parents separated, their mother returned to Laos with the younger sister, while she stayed with their father in Mukdahan province. She claimed her father raped her for the first time when she was 13, and again at 17. Fear kept her silent about her ordeal for years.

The situation worsened when the younger sister, who had been living in Laos, returned home. Initially, everything seemed normal until May 26th, when their father allegedly broke into the younger sister's room and attempted to rape her. She managed to fight him off, causing him to flee. He later sent an apology letter through a relative, offering compensation and urging her to keep silent. This prompted the older sister to take action and seek help from the authorities.

The older sister also revealed their father's regular methamphetamine use. During an interview, her voice trembled as she recounted the traumatic experiences that have deeply affected her life.
