Bangkok: SME D Bank will continue its commitment to support Thai SMEs by organizing the "SME D Market" throughout 2026. Starting from January 26-28, the event will offer a wide range of quality products, aiming to revitalize the economy.
According to Thai News Agency, the Small and Medium Enterprise Development Bank of Thailand (SME D Bank) is focused on fostering sustainable growth for Thai SMEs. As a state-owned bank, SME D Bank is collaborating with Phaya Thai District to assist both its clients and the general public who have been affected by economic challenges or natural disasters. The initiative provides entrepreneurs with the opportunity to set up booths and sell their products at the end of each month throughout the year, free of charge.
The inaugural "SME D Market" for 2026 is scheduled from January 26-28, at the SME Bank Tower, next to BTS Ari station. The event is themed "Shop to Kick Off the Year, Deals to Open Your Heart," offering a variety of products including food, household goods, jewelry, and clothing, with special promotions aimed at boosting the Thai economy.
Since its inception, the event has supported over 400 SME entrepreneurs, generating approximately 4.6 million baht in revenue in 2015. It has been well-received by the public, offering affordable quality goods and reducing living costs.
