Bangkok: The Sri Thep Thai Foundation has been granted royal permission to co-host the Buddhist funeral rites for Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother. The ceremony is scheduled to take place on June 7, 2026, at 5:00 PM at the Dusit Maha Prasat Throne Hall within the Grand Palace.
According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Sorasin Traichakraphop, Chairman of the Sri Thep Thai Foundation, co-presided over the rites alongside Mrs. Penprapa Traichakraphop, Secretary-General of the foundation. Members of the foundation's board of directors, executives, and staff from the Sri Thep Thai Group of Companies also participated in the solemn occasion. This important event was made possible due to the royal permission granted to the foundation for hosting the funeral rites.
