Bangkok: The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) has introduced a new application called 'wiset' (?????), designed to integrate investment portfolio data, market information, shareholder services, and investment education into a single platform. The app, officially launched on June 9, 2026, aims to streamline access to information for investors, facilitating more informed investment decisions.
According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Assadej Kongsiri, President and CEO of the Stock Exchange of Thailand, emphasized that while access to information has improved, investment data remains scattered across multiple platforms, complicating the management of comprehensive asset portfolios. The 'wiset' app intends to address this challenge by centralizing investment information and services, aligning with the SET's vision of providing inclusive opportunities. Mr. Assadej noted that the app would help investors consolidate multiple investment accounts into a single view, offering a clearer picture of their wealth and enabling more effective investment strategies.
The app is designed around four key user experiences: asset aggregation, market monitoring, investment education, and shareholder services. The My Wealth feature consolidates various asset holdings, such as stocks, bonds, and ETFs, allowing investors to easily track their portfolios. This marks the first service of its kind in Thailand, according to the SET.
Market Overview offers real-time tracking of market data and news, customizable to suit individual investment styles. The Learning Hub compiles investment education resources, including SET e-Learning and other tools, to support ongoing investor education and skill development.
TSD e-Service enhances shareholder engagement by providing digital access to shareholding details, dividend information, and related services, reducing paperwork and increasing convenience. Mr. Assadej explained that the name 'wiset' signifies wise investment, grounded in the provision of complete and reliable information, leveraging the SET's role as a central information source for the Thai capital market.
The development of 'wiset' involved collaboration with various entities within the capital market, including securities associations and investment management groups, ensuring the app meets practical investor needs. Feedback from investors will continue to inform future updates and feature additions.
