Bangkok: It’s clear now that two Pheu Thai MPs, Sudarat and Sarasnan, have joined the Bhumjaithai Party. Anutin says the pictures tell the story, extending his arms to protect his party members from the media.
According to Thai News Agency, following the Bhumjaithai Party’s extraordinary general meeting, Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, Anutin Charnvirakul, in his capacity as party leader, accompanied Pheu Thai Party MP Sudarat Pitakpornpallop, who was wearing a Buriram United Football Club jersey, and Pheu Thai Party MP Sarasnan Annonnopporn, Khon Kaen, to introduce themselves to the media.
Anutin did not answer any questions, but simply said, “Let the pictures tell the story,” before extending his arms to protect the two MPs and saying, “Save your party members,” and laughing.
When asked what he was trying to save his party members from, Mr. Anutin did not answer, instead proceeding to escort the two MPs to the meeting room immediately.
