“Suriya” and 2 Deputy Ministers take the opportunity to enter the Ministry of Transport on September 10th.

"Suriya" along with 2 assistant ministers held an auspicious occasion on September 10 at 11:00 a.m. to officially enter the Ministry of Transport in the era of the "Paetongtarn Cabinet" ready to perform their duties, drive transport projects, continue policies continuously, respond to the needs of the government, people, and the country, drive the economy, support tourism, trade, and investment, confirming that every step is transparent and can be verified. Mr. Suriya Juangroongruangkit, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport, revealed that on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at 11:00 a.m., he, along with Ms. Manoporn Charoensri and Mr. Surapong Piyachote, Deputy Ministers of Transport, are scheduled to officially assume their duties at the Ministry of Transport after being appointed to their positions and the new Cabinet, led by Ms. Paethongtarn Shinawatra as Prime Minister, swore an oath before taking office on September 6, 2024. The Ministry of Transport's operational guidelines will continue the im portant projects and policies of the Ministry of Transport that were implemented when I assumed office in the previous government since September 11, 2023, in order to develop infrastructure projects and upgrade transportation services, as well as support Thailand's logistics sector in all dimensions, covering land, rail, water and air routes, so that they can move forward continuously and without interruption, in order to respond to the needs of the people and the government with the highest efficiency. Mr. Suriya confirmed that the Ministry of Transport's various missions will prioritize the benefits of the people and the country, as well as support travel, promote trade, tourism and investment, and attract both domestic and foreign investors to invest in various projects in Thailand. It emphasizes the highest level of safety according to international standards and sets a goal for environmental conservation in the transportation sector.
