Surin: Nearly 3,000 tourists visited the historic sites of "Prasat Ta Kwai" and "Hill 350," with military personnel providing assistance and ensuring security throughout the day.
According to Thai News Agency, the Tourist Facilitation Command Center at Ta Kwai Temple - Hill 350 detailed its mission to accommodate visitors after the reopening of the historical site and monument commemorating Thai heroes for trial visits. Military units in the area offered services to tourists at Ta Kwai Temple and Hill 350 in Bak Dai Subdistrict, Phanom Dong Rak District, Surin Province, from 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
Military personnel were on hand to assist tourists and distribute information regarding guidelines and precautions for visiting the Ta Kwai Castle historical site, ensuring that tourism was orderly and safe.
Tourist statistics for the day included 1,474 male tourists, 1,249 female tourists, 59 boys, 96 girls, 42 monks, and 8 foreigners, totaling 2,928 visitors. For transportation, 25 vehicles provided shuttle services for tourists. Additionally, 34 stalls were set up in the area selling goods.
In terms of medical services, 26 individuals received treatment. This included 10 people who required assistance because they were unable to walk long distances, and 16 people who were ill. Among those, 3 experienced dizziness or lightheadedness, 7 improved after taking medication, 2 received wound cleaning, and 1 had high blood pressure. No patients were reported with colds, fever, coughs, or additional wounds, and no patients had pre-existing conditions needing special care.
Overall, the operations of the day proceeded smoothly with normal conditions, and tourists were efficiently and courteously facilitated.
